With 45 posters, 45 oral presentation, 3 keynote speakers and many more interesting discussions, ISRA 2019 has been a great success. We thank everyone who has attended for their contribution!
The International Symposium on Room Acoustics 2019 was held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on September 15-17, 2019. Organised by the Acoustical Society of the Netherlands (Nederlands Akoestisch Genootschap, NAG), ISRA 2019 is a satellite congress to the International Congress on Acoustics ICA 2019 and an EAA endorsed event.
The conference included contributed as well as invited papers, and several special keynote presentations on room acoustics related to performance spaces for speech and music.
SPECIAL ISSUE BUILDING ACOUSTICS

Building Acoustics will publish a Special Issue regarding ten selected ISRA Conference contributions. Only submissions that have relevance to current research and practice will be invited to the Special Issue. Manuscripts have to be submitted to the special issue of the journal according to instructions provided in the invitation letter, to be sent to the selected authors by September 30th, 2019. Contributions require to have at least 70% of the content that is new. Each manuscript will then be reviewed according to the journal policy. The submission deadline of the full manuscript is March 31st, 2020.
